I fell in the music potion couldron at birth and can get a tune out of any inanimate object within a few moments of holding it. I play bass, keys, drums, brass, digeridoo really well. I also play a load of other instruments well enough for the studio. I Studied classically and got into a highly regarded university but my main thing is pop music. I mainly play by ear and can join in with pretty much any jam. I also sing and have release a few tracks as an artist. I’m working on a new pop album at the moment.
My main ambition is to have hit songs in the charts. (yes, I know, that’s everyone’s dream right?) Well, I’m never desparately banging away at the hit song forge triaging every idea before allowing it out of my fingers and on to the paper… any more. I let it start natural and real. I’ve written musicals, MD’s shows, I got a standing ovation on britain’s got talent 3 yeses 1 no, and done a whole load of other weird and wonderful stuff.
After years of people saying well done and enjoying my gigs and millions of youtube views etc etc I was astonished to find out one day that I rarely sold any music because many of my songs were in fact meaningless bollocks. Took a while but I got over myself, found a mentor, slapped myself around the face with the frozen Salmon of reality (or something like that). I was one of those people that thought lyrics weren’t important. I realise they are important to me and my audience so I upped my writing game. I totally get it now. I have since had several near misses as a writer for other people with biiiig names nearly cutting my tracks and then the wind changed or someone died or there was a change in direction/brand/brief etc etc. I bang head on desk and try again. I am on the precipice of it (absalute madness).

I’m always intersted in collaborating with friendly people with the same ambition as me. I’m also a producer and musical swiss army knife for hire working with people at all levels. I’ve got no time for bullshit or bluffers, I am human and humble, I can laugh at myself. I most certainly do not know it all and I love meeting new people and trying out new things.
